Meet The providers

Dr. Maiya Clark

Dr. Maiya Clark graduated Magna Cum Laude from Spelman College where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics.  She completed her medical education at Georgetown University School of Medicine in her hometown of Washington, DC.  She completed her pediatric residency at The Children’s Regional Hospital at Cooper Hospital in Camden, New Jersey.  After residency, Dr. Clark returned to the DC metropolitan area and practiced for several years at a large practice based in Annapolis, MD. 

After leaving that practice, Dr. Clark opened her own practice in Silver Spring, MD.  Dr. Clark wholeheartedly believes in practicing the art of medicine with integrity and compassion.  She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is Board Certified in Pediatrics.  Dr. Clark has a special interest in behavioral pediatrics and childhood obesity.  In her spare time she enjoys traveling, cooking, attending church activities and playing golf. 

Dr. Maiya Clark

Felicia James, MSN, CPNP-PC is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Marymount University. From there she gained several years of nursing experience working at Children's National Medical Center. She obtained a Masters degree in Nursing as a Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner at the John Hopkins University School of Nursing. Certified in the practice of pediatric nursing by the Maryland Board of Nursing, Felicia is also a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.

Felicia's special interests in pediatrics include the treatment and care of premature infants, breastfeeding, obesity management, asthma education, and community health. In her spare time she enjoys reading, cooking, community service, attending the theatre, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.
